Having been working in the field of Early Education for over 12 years, I have seen the many changes that have taken place. The expectations placed on children by society and the educational system is one that is alarming. Children grow, learn and development at different rates, yet these things are not taken into account. I have worked with and consulted with many parents, teachers and education professionals who are frustrated…with their children for the “inability to keep up.” This is where adult education is vital! As parents and professionals, we need to gain a deeper understanding of our children’s development process, so that we can better guide them down a path of individual success.
